Multifunctional Hammer Mill

The series multi-functional wood hammer mill is designed to crush wood logs, tree branches, wood chips, wasted wood, wood residues, sawmill cuts, veneers, wood shavings, straw, agricultural stalk, bagasse., etc biomass material to 3-5mm, 5-6mm or 8-10mm size.

This Multifunctional wood hammer mill is made up of a force-feeding conveyor, force-feeding chute, wood logs feeding chute, motor, frame, rotor, cutting blades, hammers, sieve, air fan, cyclone, airlock, and bag-type dust collector.

Inside this Multifunctional wood grinder machine equipped with a rotor that rotates by the transmission from the main motor, the main motor and rotor shaft are connected by a V-belt. The rotor is equipped with both cutting blades and hammers. The cutting blades cut the wood logs or tree branches from one feeding chute, while the hammers crush them after cutting or crushing the material feeding from the force-feeding chute.

One feeding chute is equipped with a force-feeding conveyor and force-feeding device, which can feed veneers, sawmill cuts, wood residues, straw bagasse, and agricultural stalk into the crushing chamber. The force-feeding conveyor and force-feeding device make the feeding of raw material easier. Material from the force-feeding chute goes to the crushing chamber directly and is crushed by hammers when the size is crushed smaller than the holes on the sieve it will be discharged by the wind force of the air fan.

The force-feeding conveyor is a 2-meter length belt conveyor installed horizontally to the ground, workers can put the raw materials on this conveyor and the conveyor can send raw material to the force-feeding chute. The force-feeding chute is equipped with feeding rollers that have teeth on the roller to swallow the raw material into the crushing chamber. Thus making feeding raw materials easier.

The other feeding chute is designed to feed wood logs and tree branches. From this feeding chute wood goes to cutting blades, these cutting blades cut the wood into chips, and then the hammers crush the wood chips.

There is a sawdust collection system equipped with this hammer mill, which consists air fan, cyclone, airlock, and bag dust collector.

An air fan is a high-pressure fan that can provide wind force to move the crushed sawdust from the crushing chamber to the cyclone, inside the cyclone separates sawdust and dust, and the sawdust will be discharged from the airlock under the cyclone, while the dust will be collected by bag type dust collector.

The airlock is installed under the cyclone which can prevent wind pressure from the air fan so that only sawdust will be discharged from the cyclone and there is no dust fly from this part

The bag-type dust collector is connected to the top of a cyclone which can collect the dust to make the working area clean.

For this crushing system we are equipped with an electric panel, this electric panel can automatically control the force-feeding system and can control the motor's start, and stop. We are equipped with a thermal overheat protector to protect the motors from overheating and overload. The main motor applies star-delta starting to reduce the starting ampere. The electric panel has buttons with English marks thus it is easy for the user to operate the machine. On the electric panel have an ampere meter and voltage meter to show the amps and voltage of the main motor.
