Working principle：

A wood grinder machine mainly cuts branches, small-diameter wood, boards, slats, etc., with diameters or thicknesses under 120 mm. The cut wood chips are used as raw materials for fiberboard and pulp. This cutting mechanism uses a rotating drum with several flying knives; as the knives rotate, the wood is processed into craft wood chips. The outer edge of the drum has many square holes to ensure smooth discharge of the wood chips; the feeding mechanism consists of the feeding interface, the upper and lower feeding rollers, and the feeding gap adjustment mechanism. Press and feed the wood to the cutting mechanism at a set speed to control the size of the cut wood chips; when processing thick wood, the feeding gap adjustment mechanism adjusts the feed rate. After the wood chips are screened, the larger ones must enter between the blade and the baffle again to be crushed.
Grooves on the front of the cutter head allow radial installation of cutting blades at 10° to 15°. A wedge-shaped adjustment block at the bottom of the blade adjusts the blade extension; a spacer at the rear adjusts the blade's compensation length after sharpening. A through gap runs along the blade direction on the cutter head, allowing the cut wood chips to turn to the other side of the cutter head. The blades are evenly arranged on the outer edge of the cutter head, and the airflow they generate blows the wood chips out of the discharge port; after screening, the excessively large ones enter the crusher. The machine has three types: single-knife, multi-knife, and spiral-surface knife. The first two types produce wood chips with poor uniformity. Because the cutting surface of the spiral-surface cutter disc chipper is in contact with the cutter disc during the cutting process, the unit pressure is small, the cutting of wood chips is neat, there are few broken wood chips, the wear of the cutter head is small, the length of the cut wood chips is consistent, and the qualified rate of cutting wood chips can reach about 97%.
