Disc Wood Chipper
A disc wood chipper chips wood logs, bamboo, wood timbers, and more. It is widely used in the pellet production, paper, and particle board industries. It cuts wood materials into high-quality wood chips and shavings with flat cuts, even length, and uniform chip thickness.
The disc wood chipper comes in two types: one equipped with an electric motor and the other with a diesel engine. We can also add wheels to make the diesel engine type movable.

Product Structure |

The Disc wood chipper consists of the main structure, cutting blades, motor and transmission device, and feeding and discharge chute. The wood and other raw materials feed into the feeding chute and then go to the cutting disc. The motor drives the transmission, which turns the cutting disc, and the rotating blades cut the wood and other raw materials into small chips. Depending on the chip application, different chip uses require different final chip length and thickness. The larger disc wood chipper model also includes a flat feeding conveyor and a discharge conveyor to simplify operation. The electric panel controls the whole machine and includes a thermal overload protection system to protect the motor in case of overload. |
