Disc Wood Chipper

Disc wood chipper is designed especially for chipping wood logs, bamboo, wood timbers., etc. It is widely used in the pellet production industry, paper industry particle board industry. It can cut wood materials into high-quality wood chips and shavings with flat incisions, even length, and uniform chip thickness.

The disc wood chipper has two kinds, one kind equipped with an electric motor, and the other kind equipped with a diesel engine. We also can add wheels to make the diesel engine type movable.

Product Structure

The Disc wood chipper is made up of the main structure, cutting blades, motor and transmission device, feeding and discharge chute. The wood and other raw materials feed into the feeding chute and then go to the cutting disc, the cutting disc is runs by the transmission of a motor, and the rotating blades will cut the wood and other raw materials into small chips, according to the requirement of different usage of chips, the length and thickness of final chips can be adjusted. For the bigger model disc wood chipper, we are also equipped with a feeding flat conveyor and discharge conveyor to make the operation much easier. The whole machine is controlled by the electric panel, which includes the thermal overload protection system to protect the motor in case of overload.
