2. Introduction

BX series disc wood chipper machine is designed to make wood chips from wood logs, and tree branches or make bamboo chips from bamboo, which is widely used in the papermaking industry, particleboard production line, medium fiberboard plant, medium fiberboard production line, and wood pellet production line. The wood chips produced from disc-type wood chippers are more uniform in size and shape compared with the wood chips produced from drum wood chipper machines, so the disc wood chipper is an ideal choice if you have requirements on the size of wood chips.

The disc-type wood chipper machine is made of a feeding conveyor, wood chipper, and discharge conveyor.

The feeding conveyor is a 4-meter length flat conveyor, which can send wood material to the feeding chute on a wood chipper. With this conveyor, it is much easier to feed wood logs, tree branches, and bamboo. The conveyor is horizontally installed, so people can put the wood on this conveyor manually or by a loader machine to save labor while operating this machine.

The wood chipper is the main part of this machine, which is made up of a frame, feeding chute, cutting disc, cutting blades, discharge chute, and main motor. The feeding chute is designed in a horizontal position so that the feeding conveyor can send wood into this chute easily. On the cutting disc equipped with six cutting blades, during motor transmission the cutting disc rotates by V-belt, and the cutting blades cut the wood into chips. Then the wood chips discharge to the discharge conveyor undercutting disc.

A discharge conveyor is installed on this machine to move the wood chips to the storage place, truck, or machine in the next step, The length of this discharge conveyor is 10 meters, so it is long enough to send wood chips to the truck directly.

The electric panel is a standard part for this wood chipper, the buttons on the panel can start the machine and stop the machine, on the electric panel has an ampere meter and voltmeter to indicate amps and voltage all the time. Inside electric has an electromotor integrative protector and overheat protector to protect the motors from overload and overheating.
