EFB Shredder

EFB (Palm Empty Fruit Bunch) is a good biomass material to make biofuel pellets, but due to the size and high moisture content of EFB, it is not easy to refine the size directly by hammer mill or crusher machine, so we designed the EFB shredder to crush the EFB to fiber. Our machine is updated from a drum wood chipper, we changed the structure of the knife cylinder, bottom blades, and fly blades, so that the machine can crush the FEB directly to 10-40mm size EFB fiber.

EFB feed to the machine from feeding flat conveyor, workers just need to put the EFB on the belt, the flat conveyor can send the EFB to feeding mouth, the feeding mouth is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder, so it is flexible to swallow EFB with different size, from feeding mouth the EFB go to shredding chamber, which is the main part to shredding the EFB, the bottom stable blades, top blades and fly blades on knife cylinder cut the EFB and shredding them to fiber until the size of the fiber is smaller than 40mm, the fiber will be discharged from the screen, under the screen, there is the discharge conveyor, which can move away from the EFB fibber from the machine. The whole system is controlled by the electric panel, the panel can start, stop the motors and protect the motors from overload.
