Sawdust comes from sawmills or is produced by crushing logs, branches, or waste wood with a sawdust-making machine or wood crusher. It is an ideal material for making wood pellets because sawdust has a high calorific value. Usually, sawdust is around 5mm, which meets the requirements of pellet press machines. So, when investing in a sawdust pellet project, you only need to consider the project capacity and the sawdust moisture. If sawdust moisture is >15%, you need a dryer to reduce it; if it is 12-15%, you can pelletize directly with a pellet press. Project capacity determines which pellet press model to use and how many sets you need.
