Tractor Pto Pellet Mill

Tractor PTO pellet mill is made of a flat die pellet mill and a PTO shaft, use a PTO shaft to connect the pellet mill to the tractor's PTO output to make pellets. It is suitable for home usage or farm owner use to make wood pellets or animal feed pellets on small scale. Tractors can move the pellet mill to raw material to make pellets thus saving cost and time to move raw material.

The pellet mill part is a flat die pellet mill, it includes the gearbox, main shaft, rollers, flat die, feeding chute and discharge chute.

The gearbox connect is used to reduce the rotating speed, we use a high-quality gearbox with strong gears. The gearbox transfer the main shaft to rotate, the rollers rotating together with the main shaft, when material feed from the feeding chute, the rollers press material into the hole of the flat die to compress pellets. Pellets from the bottom of the flat die are cut by the cutter and move to the discharge chute.

The flat die of the Tractor PTO pellet mill decides the diameter of pellets, if want to make different diameter pellets need to change to a flat die. We supply flat die with 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm and 10mm diameter holes, we can customize flat die with your requirement of diameter.

The gap between flat die and roller can influence the press pressure, so it influences the pellet hardness, for a different kind of raw material due to the bulk density is different, so need to adjust this gap to make good quality pellets.

Maintenance of this pellet mill is simple and easy, only need to inject grease to bearings of rollers and bearing of the main shaft, there are grease nozzles on the pellet mill to do the maintenance.

The PTO shaft is used to connect the pellet mill to the tractor. At the backside of the tractor have a PTO output unit. First, fix the pellet mill to the tractor by the connection frame, then use the PTO shaft to connect the PTO output and gearbox. After the connection work finished feed material to feeding chute of pellet mill to make pellets.

The side connection of the PTO shaft and gearbox is fixed, we can make the connector of the PTO shaft and gearbox the same size.

For the tractor PTO output, some shafts on the tractor with six keys, some tractors with eight keys, when you order our PTO pellet mill please tell me your tractor PTO shaft is six keys or eight keys so that we can assemble a suitable PTO shaft on pellet mill for you.
