The homemade wood pellet machine is designed for small-scale production because it is compact, uses little electricity, requires little land, and is easy to operate and maintain. Output is relatively low, so starters usually use it for small-scale, home use.

 

Because it is simple to operate, setup is easy: connect the machine to the electrical panel, then start it to produce pellets.

Feed raw material into the flat die pellet mill from the top of the machine. You usually add it manually by feeding it into the chute or using a screw conveyor to send it into the chute.

For good-quality pellets, raw material quality is critical; the flat die pellet mill requires raw material moisture of 12-15% and a size of around 5mm.

Working principle: The 

Sawdust Moving Disc Pelletizer-Half-pack motor type uses a flat die moving plate design and is motor-driven. The operation process is simple and easy to control. The machine drives the main shaft through gears to rub the die plate and the pressure roller, and the resulting friction temperature (between the pressure roller and the die plate) can reach up to 80°C. The raw material passes through the high temperature under the pressing roller and die plate, passes through the holes in the die plate, and the high-quality molded particles roll out from the discharge port. The cutter controls particle length.
