Charcoal Maker Machine

A charcoal maker machine is used to press charcoal briquettes from charcoal powder, charcoal pieces, wasted charcoal, coal powder, and wasted coal, it is a reliable machine to turn charcoal and coal powder into charcoal briquettes, thus making the waste charcoal or coal useful.
The machine structure is quite simple, on the machine base, there is the motor, gearbox, main shaft, screw propeller, mold, and feeding chute.
The main transmission system is a motor, reducer, and V-belt, the gearbox is used to reduce the rotating speed of the screw propeller, thus improving the stability of the coal powder briquette machine.
The main working part is the screw propeller and mold, the charcoal powder goes to the screw propeller from the feeding chute, and the screw propeller presses the charcoal powder into the mold, from the mold it shapes to charcoal briquette.
Obviously, the model decides the shape and size of the final charcoal briquette, so changing the model can get different sizes and shapes.

• Long lifetime mold, because charcoal or coal powder is a small powder and there is no fiber content, so the friction between charcoal or coal powder and screw propeller, and mold is small, thus the screw propeller and mold are not easy wearing.

• The charcoal or coal powder does not have fiber content, so it is not easy to shape a briquette, that is why before feeding this powder into the charcoal powder briquette machine need to mix the powder with a binder and water. Usually, we use starch (like corn starch, or cassava starch) as a binder to help the powder shape up briquettes. The quantity of binder needed to add is 2-3% of charcoal or coal powder weight.

• The size of the charcoal or coal powder decides the quality of the final charcoal briquette because if the charcoal or coal is granular the final charcoal powder will be not smooth, so if your charcoal or coal size is big, need to use a crusher or edge runner reduce the size, turn it to powder before mixing.
