Biomass Briquette Machine

A biomass briquette machine is designed to produce briquettes or charcoal from sawdust, wood shavings, wood chips, tree branches, wasted wood, tree barks, coconut shells, bamboo, bagasse, or other biomass material. The biomass briquettes machine is made up of a machine frame, motor, feeding tank, main shaft, screw propeller, heating coil, forming a cylinder, thermocouple, and bearings.

1. The feeding tank is to feed material and store raw material for the charcoal briquette machine.

2. The motor is the main transmission source to the charcoal briquette machine, motor shaft and main shaft are connected by a V-belt and belt pulley.

3. The main shaft connects to the screw propeller, which is an important part of the charcoal briquette machine, it presses the sawdust into forming a cylinder, outside of forming cylinder are heating coils, during the charcoal briquette machine running, the heating coils heat the sawdust inside forming a cylinder, and finally, the sawdust compressed by the pressure from screw propeller and forming cylinder and then discharged from the forming cylinder.

4. The inner shape of the forming cylinder decides the shape of the final briquettes, we have a square shape, hexagonal shape, round shape, and other different kinds of shapes for your choice.

5. The diameter of forming cylinder and screw propeller decide the diameter of the final briquettes, usually 50mm, 70mm, and 80mm is most popular.

6. The final briquettes are high density usually around 1100-1400kg/m³

7. Carbonize the briquettes can get charcoal, the charcoal briquette is good fuel for BBQ.

Features of biomass briquette machine:

• Simple structure, easy to operate and maintain.

• The machine is controlled by the electric panel, to start, stop, and overheat protection, on the electric panel can see the temperature of the heating coil and set the temperature.

• The screw propeller is made of high-hardness alloy steel, when the screw n the propeller wore out, can use a wear-resistant electrode to welding on the surface and repair it.

• By changing the forming cylinder can change the shape of the final briquettes.

• Carbonize the briquettes can get BBQ charcoal.

• Feeding raw material size 3-5mm, if size big then this needs to use crusher or hammer mill to grind it to 3-5mm.

• Feeding material moisture is 8-12%, if moisture is higher than this use the dryer to dry the moisture.
