Introduction:

The industrial wood pellet mill is a kind of ring die pelletizer designed to make biomass fuel pellets because the pelleting chamber of this machine is designed in a vertical structure, so we call it a vertical ring die pellet mill.
Raw material input from the top of the pellet mill, by gravity raw material falls into the pelleting chamber directly, inside the pelleting chamber the rollers rotate together with the main shaft, while the ring die is stable. The rotating rollers and the centrifugal force from running rollers push raw material go to through holes on the ring die, in the meantime, the rollers press raw material to go through holes on the ring die and compress them into pellets.
This vertical ring dies pellet mill has the advantage of producing high-quality wood pellets and other kinds of biomass fuel pellets from different kinds of wood material and biomass material. Raw material input in this pellet mill should match the features: size <6mm and moisture <17%.
If the size is>6mm, usually use a hammer mill/wood crusher to grind them
If moisture is higher than 15% usually use a rotary drum dryer to dry them after crushing the size to 3-5mm.
