The main parts of the wood pellet processing plant

1. Debarking Process

Debarker is used to peel logwood with a diameter of 10 to 600mm. The peeled rate is more than 95 percent.

2. Chipping Process

Since the raw materials are wood logs, branches, boards, etc, we have to use a wood chipper to produce it into smaller pieces.

3.Grinding Process

Our hammer mill is used to further crush the small pieces into particles of less than 1-3mm.

4.Drying Process

We use a drum dryer to dry the sawdust. The sawdust moisture before drying is normally: 30-60% after drying is normally:12-15%.

5.Pelleting Process

We use a pellet machine to make pellets into 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, etc, which can be produced based on the client’s request.

6.Cooling Process

After the pellet mill, the temperature of pellets is between 60-80 degrees. For storage purposes, a cooler must be used to reduce their surface temperature and moisture content.

7.Packing Process

The packing process is to protect the pellets becoming getting damp, and it is useful for transport and market sales.
