For the complete vertical type, ring dies biomass pellet plant we have 1.5-2t/h, 3-4t/h, 5-6t/h, 7-8t/h, and 8-10t/h capacity.
A vertical ring dies pellet plant includes four-part: Raw material grinding part, Raw material drying part, Pelletizing part, Pellet cooling, and packing part.
* Raw material grinding part is designed to reduce the size of raw material to about 5mm, it is the size like sawdust, because this site is the best size for pellet mill to press pellets.
According to different raw materials we have different machines and solutions to reduce the size.
The raw material like wood logs, tree branches, wood residues we commonly use a wood chipper machine to turn the wood materials into wood chips first and then use a hammer mill to turn the wood chips into sawdust.
The raw material like straw, bagasse, coconut shell, cotton stalk, giant grass we usually use crusher to grinding the raw material into 5mm size directly.
The raw material like EFB we usually use a shredding machine to turn the EFB into fiber then use a hammer mill to grind the EFB fiber
Raw materials like rice husk, sunflower husk, peanut shells, sawdust do not need to reduce the size, when processing the moisture to 15%, they can be put into vertical ring die biomass pellet plant to make pellets directly.
* Raw material drying part is designed to reduce the moisture of raw material to 15% to meet the requirement of pellet mill on the humidity of raw material.
We usually use a rotary drum dryer to process these raw materials, according to the features of raw material we have a single-pass rotary dryer and three pass rotary dryer, our engineer team will give a solution on the size of the dryer and which kind of dryer will use according to features of your raw material.
* Pelletizing part is to turn the prepared raw material into pellets, in a vertical ring die biomass pellet plant we use vertical type pellet mill to produce pellets because this kind of pellet mill is vertical structure, it has absolute advantages on feeding raw material, the raw material can fall into the pelletizing chamber by gravity directly, especially for low bulk density raw material like a peanut shell, sunflower husk, straw, rice husk, coconut shell, EFB, it has more advantages to feed the raw material. This vertical ring dies pellet mill is equipped with grease to inject the pump to greasing bearings automatically. Due to the vertical structure and its advantages, the vertical type ring dies pellet mill has more advantages to press low bulk density biomass material into pellets.
* Pellet cooling and pellet packing part is designed to cool down the pellets and pack the pellets into bags. Due to the temperature of pellets from the pellet mill is around 70 Celsius, if pack them directly it is too hot to damage the bags if storage the hot pellets without cooling by bulk, during the pellets cooling down by nature slowly, the pellets will become loose and the surface of pellets will crack, which will influence density and appearance of the pellets. So after the pellet mill uses a pellet cooler to cool down the pellets is necessary. Normally after a cooler, there is a pellet sieving machine to sieve the pellets thus picking out small powders from pellets and make sure all of the pellet's go-to packing machine is high-quality pellets, the packing machine will weighing the pellets, filling pellet into bags, and sealing the bags.
The raw materials of the biomass ring die pellet equipment include logs, branches, wood, wood chips, straw, sawdust, cotton stalks, bagasse, corn cobs, EFB, peanut shells, sunflower shells, rice husks, coconut husks, forage, and other material materials. The final particles are 6mm, 8, 10mm in diameter, etc.
