Usually, a 1t/h sawdust pellet plant includes a rotary drum dryer, pellet mill, pellet cooler, and pellet packing machine.

A rotary drum dryer is a common machine installed at beginning of a 1t/h sawdust pellet plant. It is designed to reduce the moisture of sawdust.

Usually, the sawdust we got contains a high moisture level and the moisture of sawdust is not uniform, but to make wood pellets the ring die pellet mill requires moisture of raw material should lower than 15%, that is why we need a rotary drum dryer to dry the sawdust.

Rotary drum dryer can dry sawdust to 15% moisture with high efficiency, the machine structure is simple and operation is quite easy. Use conveyor to feed sawdust into drum tube, the hot air from furnace go to drum tube at the same time, hot air and sawdust mixture inside drum tube and moving from front to end, during they moving forward the hot air evaporate the moisture from sawdust.

For 1t/h capacity, our HJ1200 model rotary drum dryer is capable, the drum tube diameter is 1.2 meters, and the length of the drum tube is 12 meters. The complete unit includes an air fan, cyclone, airlock, and electric panel.

During the cooling process, the pellet temperature is a reducer, the hardness is increased, and when storage the pellets can avoid crack on the surface of pellets.

Counterflow pellet cooler adopts cool air to cool the pellets, cool air goes to cooling tank from bottom of the cooler, in the cooling tank cool air mix with hot pellets and make the temperature reducer, then the hot air will be exhausted by the air fan and dust collected by the cyclone.

The counter flow cooler cooling time is short, the discharge of pellets and cooling process is automatically controlled by an electric panel.

Under the pellets cooler, there is a pellet sieve to pick out the small size pellets and powder material, so that to make sure all the pellet's go-to packing machine is a good one.

The final step is to package the pellets into bags by pellet packing machine, we have a solution to pack it into plastic bags, woven bags, and jumbo bags.
