The 

2-5T/H poultry feed production line is a complete machine line designed to produce feed pellets for animals, livestock, and poultry such as chickens, cows, sheep, horses, etc., from grain, soybean meal, vitamins, and other ingredients. Different animals require different feed pellets made from different raw materials, and the percentage of each raw material varies; therefore, nutrition requires a formula for the raw material percentages for each type of animal, livestock, and poultry.
A 2-5t/h poultry feed production line consists of seven parts: pre-cleaning, grinding, mixing, pelletizing, cooling, pellet sieving & packing, and the electric control system.
1. The pre-cleaning part is designed to clean the raw material.
Raw materials include grains like soybeans, wheat, and corn. Raw materials may contain metal, stone, or other impurities, so we need to remove them before making feed pellets. In the animal pellet production line, we usually use a rotary screener to sieve the raw material, remove impurities, and a pulse dust collector to remove dust.
2. The grinding part is used to turn the raw material into mesh powders.
We use a hammer mill to grind the raw material. Inside the hammer mill, high-speed rotating hammers bite the grain and break it in the crushing chamber until it is ground into powder, which is then discharged through the screen. The screen holes determine the powder size.

During grinding,s a lot of dust is generated, so the animal pellet production line includes an air fan, cyclone, airlock, and pulse dust collector equipped with a hammer mill to collect dust.

Above the hammer mill, we have a material tank to store raw materials and a rotary feeder with a strong magnet to move iron.
3. The mixing part is designed to mix the powders and liquid raw materials evenly.
We use a highly efficient double-shaft mixer to mix the raw materials.
For the ground powders, we have hoppers on top of the mixer to store each kind of powder.
For liquid raw materials, we use a liquid spraying device to spray them into the mixer.
In the mixing part, one important step is deciding the quantity of each raw material because, according to the formula, each kind has a specific percentage. Controlling the quantity of each material that goes to the mixer is important; it determines the quality of the final feed pellets.
4. The pelletizing part is to make pellets from the mixed raw material.
The material goes to the pellet mill; inside the pelletizing chamber, the rollers press the raw material through the holes of the ring die to form feed pellets. In the animal feed pellet production line, we use a ring die feed pellet mill because the parts that contact raw material are made of stainless steel, ensuring the final pellets are food-grade and meet hygienic and food safety standards.
For the ring die feed pellet mill, a conditioner sits between the auger and the pellet mill. It consumes hot steam from the steam boiler. Steam and raw material go to the conditioner. Inside the conditioner, hot steam ripens the raw material so that animals can digest the feed pellets more easily.
5. The pellet cooling part is designed to cool down the pellets.
We use a counter-flow pellet cooler to cool the pellets efficiently.
Usually, in the animal feed pellet production line, we install a pellet grinder under the pellet cooler. Because some small animals, livestock, or poultry can only eat very small feed, we use this pellet grinder to crush the pellets from the cooler into very small granules. If you do not need to grind the feed pellets to a small granular size, set the crushing roller to the largest gap and turn off the machine. Pellets will come through the gap. If you need to grind the pellets, adjust the crushing rollers to a suitable gap and turn on this machine; it can start working.
After the pellet cooler, a pellet sieve classifies the pellets by size.
6. The pellet sieving &packing part is to classify the pellets and pack the pellets into bags and seal the bags; it consists of a hopper, packing machine, and sealing machine, from which the controller can set the weight to pack for each bag.

7. The electric control system is designed to control every machine in the animal feed pellet production line and protect the motors. For automatic weighing, the panel controls the weighing of each type of raw material into the mixer.
