2-5T/H poultry feed production line is a complete machine line designed to produce feed pellets for animals, livestock, and poultry like chicken, cows, sheep, horses., etc from grain, soya bean meal, vitamins, and other ingredients. Usually, for a different kind of animal, the feed pellets are produced from a different kind of raw material, and the percentage for each kind of raw material is different, so considering nutrition there is a formula for raw material percentage for each kind of animal, livestock, and poultry.
A 2-5t/h poultry feed production line consists of seven parts: pre-cleaning part, grinding part, mixing part, pelletizing part, cooling part, pellet sieving & packing part, and electric control system.
1. Pre-cleaning part is designed to clean the raw material.
The raw material includes a lot of grain like soybean, wheat, and corn. There may be metal, stone, or some other impurities in the raw material, so we need to move these impurities before making feed pellets. In the animal pellet production line, we usually use a rotary screener to sieve the raw material to pick out the impurities and use a pulse dust collector to move the dust in the raw material.
2. The grinding part is used to turn the raw material into mesh powders.
We use a hammer mill to grind the raw material, inside the hammer mill hammers, the high-speed rotating hammers bite the grain and break it inside the crushing chamber until the grain is ground into powder, and the powders will be discharged from the screen. The holes on the screen decide the size of the powders.

During grinding there is a lot of dust, so in the animal pellet production line, there is an air fan, cyclone, airlock, and pulse dust collector equipped with a hammer mill to collect dust.

On top of the hammer mill, we are equipped with a material tank to store raw materials and a rotary feeder with a strong magnet to move iron.
3. The mixing part is designed to mix the powders and liquid raw material together evenly.
We use high efficient double-shaft mixer to mix the raw material.
For the ground powders, we have hoppers on top of the mixer to store each kind of powder
For liquid raw material, we have a liquid spraying device to spray this liquid raw material into the mixer.
In the mixing part, one of the important things is to decide the quantity of each kind of raw material because according to the formula each kind of raw material has a specific percentage, so control the quantity of each kind of material that goes to the mixer is important, it decides the quality of final feed pellets.
4. The pelletizing part is to make pellets from the mixed raw material.
The material goes to the pellet mill, inside the pelletizing chamber the rollers press raw material into the hole of the ring die to compress feed pellets. In the animal feed pellet production line, we use a ring die feed pellet mill because the part that touches raw material is made of stainless steel to make sure the final pellets are food grade and can meet hygienic standards and food safety standards.
For the ring die feed pellet mill, there is a conditioner between the auger and the pellet mill, it consumes hot steam from the steam boiler, steam and raw material go-to conditioner, inside conditioner the hot steam ripens the raw material, thus animals are easier to digest the feed pellets
5. The pellet cooling part is designed to cool down the pellets.
We use a counter-flow pellet to cool down the pellets with high efficiency.
Usually, in the animal feed pellet production line we install a pellet grinder under the pellet cooler. Because some small animals, livestock, or poultry only can eat very small feed, so we use this pellet grinder to crush the pellets from the cooler and turn them into very small granular. If you do not need to grind the feed pellet to a small granular just turn the crushing roller to the biggest gap and turn off this machine, pellets will come through the gap, if need to grind the pellets adjust the crushing rollers to a suitable gap and turn on this machine it can start work.
After the pellet cooler, there is a pellet sieve, which can classify the pellets according to their size.
6. The pellet sieving &packing part is to classify the pellets and pack the pellets into bags and seal the bags, it consists of a hopper, packing machine, and sealing machine, from which the controller can set the weight to pack for each bag.

7. Electric control system, is designed to control every machine in the animal feed pellet production line and protect the motors. For the automatic weighing method, the panel controls the weighing of each kind of raw material go-to mixer.
