Raw material features for MKL series wood pellet mill
This wood pellet mill can make biomass fuel pellets from wood logs, wood chips, sawdust, waste wood, tree branches, straw, stalks, sugarcane bagasse, peanut shells, sunflower husks, coconut shells, corn cobs, agricultural waste, and other biomass materials.
The size of raw material put into the wood pellet mill should be < 5mm; if the raw material is bigger than 5 mm, it needs a crusher to refine the size before making pellets
The best moisture content for raw material to make pellets is 12-15%; if your raw material moisture is >15%, you need a dryer to reduce moisture before feeding the material into the pellet mill.

Working principle:

The MKL series diesel wood pellet mill has two rollers, so the compression pressure is high enough to produce good-quality pellets.
During operation, the matrix remains stable while the rollers rotate. When raw material is fed from the top of the rollers, the rotating rollers generate centrifugal force that sprays the raw material evenly onto the matrix; the rollers then press the material into the matrix holes, improving pelleting efficiency and the hole-pelleting ratio. Under the matrix, a cutter rotates with the main shaft and cuts the pellets as they are pressed out, so the pellets produced by this machine are more uniform.

1. The final pellets produced from the MKL series wood pellet mill can meet the EN standard for wood pellets; the diameter of pellets is 6mm, 8mm, or 10 mm (optional). The effective hole diameter on the flat die determines the final pellet diameter. The moisture of the final pellets is 7- 9%, and the bulk density of the final pellets is >600kg/m³
