Description
500kg/h sawdust pellet press machine is designed to make wood pellets from sawdust, the output is 500kg/h for final wood pellets. We use a ring die wood pellet press machine in this small wood sawdust pellet production line, since ring die pellet mill has more advantages on produce wood pellets, the machine stability, and efficiency is high, maintenance is easy with low cost, final pellets are hardness and density is high, the pellets produced from our 500kg/h small wood sawdust pellet production line can meet DIN and EN standards on wood pellets.
Cause the size of wood sawdust is fine to feed into a ring die pellet mill to make pellets directly, so do not need a wood crusher or hammer mill in a 500kg/h small wood sawdust pellet press machine.

Consider moisture requirement on sawdust before feed into ring die pellet mill, a sawdust dryer is needed or not is decided by the initial moisture of your sawdust. If your sawdust moisture is <17% there is no need sawdust dryer, if the moisture is >17% a sawdust dryer is required before the ring die pellet mill.
For 500kg/h capacity, the sawdust dryer is a small one, we can use a pipe dryer to dry the sawdust. Because compared with rotary drum dryer, the cost of pipe dryer is lower, the maintenance is easier and to install a pipe dryer the land needed is smaller.
The pipe dryer applied hot air to vapor the water contains in sawdust, hot air and sawdust move inside the pipe together, during this process the water got evaporated and we get dried sawdust for small wood sawdust pellet production line to make pellets.
After drying the sawdust or you get dried sawdust for raw material, the next step is to make pellets from the dry sawdust.
We use a screw conveyor to feed sawdust into a ring die pellet mill to make pellets.
The screw conveyor is a closed structure, when sawdust moving in the screw conveyor, the dust is closed inside the conveyor thus reducing the dust pollution and keep your factory clean.

The pellets from the pellet press machine are about 80 Celsius, then cooling down the pellets is necessary, there are two solutions to cooling down the pellets.
Solution A: cooling down by machinery, we have a pellet cooler to cool down the pellets, aftercooler use a pellet packing machine to pack the pellets into bags.
Solution B: cooling down by nature, since 500kg/h is a small output you can store the pellets on the ground and cool down by nature, thus saving money on machine investment.

Flat die wood pellets press is designed to produce wood pellets on small scale, especially for beginners to invest in producing wood pellets, produce wood pellets in small quantities for home usage, or trail raw material to make pellets.

When the new flat die pellet machine is tested, it must be fully ground for 1 hour before the machine is in use. Only in this way can the material be discharged smoothly and the surface of the particles is smooth. If you do not follow this operation, the mold may not be discharged during use, and the machine may jam. After the first test machine, in order to increase the service life of the machine, it is recommended to use the material produced by the first test machine to pass through the machine every time before shutting down and starting up to prevent the occurrence of machine blockage.
How to operate the air dryer?
1.After the installation is complete, turn on the fan and check the direction of rotation of the fan and whether the suction force of the feeding port is normal.
2. Check the joints of each flange to see if there is any air leakage.
3. Bundle a cloth bag with open ends at the unloading port of the separator.
4. Add the material to be dried at the feeding port, and large particles must be screened out before drying, which is beneficial to increase the drying speed.
5. Put fuel into the furnace to ignite, turn on the fan, and when the temperature at the outlet of the wind reaches 150°C, start cutting and drying.
6. Clear the bulk material in the slag discharge port in time to facilitate feeding.
