Description
Rice husk is a shell from paddy, which is got from rice mill plant for rice processing. The rice husk has high fiber content, it is a very good raw material to produce pellets. Normally the rice husk got from the rice mill plant is dry the moisture is around 14%, which is the best moisture for biofuel pellets pelletizing. Due to the size of the rice husk is quite small, so it can be pressed into biofuel pellets directly by pellet mill.
According to our experience on rice husk pelletizing, due to there is some oil content in rice husk, which makes the pelletizing very easy, consider the bulk density of rice husk is not high, to press the husk into pellets need high compression ratio ring die. We have a lot of clients who use our ring die pellet mill to make rice husk pellets, they use a 1:5.8 compression ratio ring die to produce high-quality pellets.
The calorific value of rice husk pellets is around 4000kcl, so the pellets made from rice husk can be fuel for boiler, furnace, power plant, home heating. Also, it is a very good material for animal bedding, such as sheep, horse, cow, goat., etc.
If produce rice husk pellets on small scale, only need a screw conveyor and one pellet mill is enough, use the screw conveyor conveying the rice husk to the pellet mill, and the pellet mill can press these rice husk into pellets directly. Because it is small scale, the output is low, the client can cooling down the pellets by nature and package the pellets manually.
If produce rice husk pellets in large quantities or for commercial purposes, the client needs a complete rice husk pellet production line. Which include pelletizing, pellet cooling and sieving, pellet packaging, and an electric controlling system.
Pelletizing parts include conveyor, storage hopper, pellet mill, and dust collection system for pellet mill.
Use conveyor transfer rice husks into the storage hopper on top of pellet mill, then the pellet mill compress rice husk to biofuel pellets. Because during pelletizing there will be vapor and dust emission from the pellet mill so we design this dust collection system to collect the dust and vapor.
To produce pellets from rice husk it is better to use our ring die type pellet mill, we have horizontal type ring die pellet mill and vertical type ring die pellet mill both can produce rice husk pellets.
We can design a rice husk pellet line with 1t/h output, 1.5-2t/h output, 3-4t/h output, 5-6t/h output, 7-8t/h output, 8-10t/h output., etc.
Pellet cooling part is made up of a conveyor, counterflow pellet cooler, and pellet sieve. This part is designed for cooling down the pellets and sieving pellets.
Due to the temperature of pellets from pellet mill is around 70 Celsius, if pack them directly it is too hot and the pellets may damage the bags, if storage the hot pellets in large quantity without cooling down, during the pellets cooling down by nature slowly, the pellets will become loose and the surface of pellets will cracking, because during slow cooling down by nature some moisture and vapor will reduce from pellets, so after vapor and temperature reduced the some of the pellets are cracking on the surface. The crack and loss will influence the density and appearance of the pellets. So after the pellet mill uses a pellet cooler to cool down the pellets is necessary for a commercial rice husk pellet line.
During the pelletizing procedure, some of the husk or husk powder can not form pellets, so we need a pellet sieve to sieve the pellets, thus to pick out the small powders, then we can make sure all the pellets go yo packaging part is good quality pellets.
The Pellet packaging part is designed to weighing the pellets, filling pellets into bags, and sealing bags. Which normally include conveyor, hopper, packaging machine, and air compressor.

We have a packaging machine quantitative packing machine, which can weighting, filling pellets into plastic bags or woven bags, we have a heater sealer to sealing plastic bags, and a sewing machine to seal woven bags.
In this kind of packing machine, we have a DCS-50A model to pack 10-50Kg weight bags, and DCS-100A to pack 10-100Kg weight bags.
We have an automatic packing machine that uses plastic film rolls to make bags, weighting pellets, filling pellets into bags, and sealing the bags. The whole process is automatically working. This kind of packaging machine can pack 5-15Kg plastic bags.
We have a jumbo packing machine to pack the pellets into ton bags like 500kg/bag, 1000kg/bag, 1500kg/bag, and 2000kg/bag.
The electric controlling system is designed to control all of the motors in the production line and control the cooling unit's automatic working.
From the electric panels can start, stop each machine, the panels have a thermal overload protection system for each motor thus to protect the motor and machine from overload, the panel has an automatic control unit for cooler to control cooler discharge pellets and stop discharge pellets.
