The usage of the screw press dewatering machine is to press out juice from fruit and vegetables to get the juice or press out water from kitchen garbage, wet sawdust, wet EFB fiber, and wet bagasse to get the fiber with lower moisture contents.

EFB Fiber Dehydrator Machine is made up of a motor, reducer, gearbox, feeding screw, pressing/extruding screw, pressure adjustment device, hydraulic system, water/juice collect pan, residue outlet, and machine frame.

* The motor is the power source for this machine, it provides basic transmission power for the whole system

* Reducer and gearbox decide the rotating speed of the screws and make sure the machine working stability

* The screws play an important role in this machine, there are two screws inside the extruding chamber

The first screw is the feeding screw, which is installed on the front side of the main shaft and rotates together with the big gear in the gearbox, material from the feeding chute goes to the feeding screw first, and with the rotation of this screw the material move forward in the extruding chute and go to pressing/extruding screw.

The second screw is a pressing screw also called extruding screw, this screw is installed on the end of the main shaft and rotates together with a small gear in the gearbox, when the material goes to the pressing screw because the rotating direction of the feeding screw and the pressing screw is inverse, so the by the rotating of this two screw to press out the juice or water in raw material

* The pressure adjustment device works together with the hydraulic system, use the hydraulic system to control the pressure at the end of the extruding chamber, thus controlling the dehydrating efficiency, that is to say, if want to dehydrate more water or juice adjust the pressure higher.

• There is a pressure adjustor at the end of the main shaft to adjust the pressing pressure thus controlling the dewatering or dehydrating ratio or control the percentage of juice pressing out from vegetables or fruit.
