Wood peeling is the process of removing the skin or bark from wood logs and tree branches. It is an important step in wood pellet production to make EN and DIN A+ pellets because bark can affect the ash content and heat value of the final pellets. To produce high-grade pellets that must not contain bark, we need a wood debarking machine in the wood pellet line.

Our wood debarking machine uses a double-roller design: each roller has its own motor, and the motor connects to the roller shaft via a reducer.

After turning on the double-roller wood debarking machine, the two rollers rotate together. After feeding wood into the tank, the rollers under the tank rotate. The teeth on the rollers help move the bark and make the wood jump in the tank. The wood jumps and hits itself to knock off the bark.
