Bran feed

This type of feed includes rice bran, wheat bran, sweet potato vine bran, peanut vine bran, broad bean leaf bran, soybean straw bran and so on. The amount of pigs is 10%-15% of the total feed, and the maximum is not more than 20%.

Meal feed

It mainly includes rapeseed cake, peanut cake, cottonseed cake, soybean cake, sesame cake, etc. The mixing ratio of pig cake feed is 10% to 25% of the total feed. Soybean cake and peanut cake have good nutrition and can be mixed with 25%; rapeseed cake and cottonseed cake should be less than 10%. Rapeseed cakes and cottonseed cakes must be detoxified as feed, and other cakes only need to be steamed or fried. It is not advisable to add cakes and meal to piglet feed.

Dregs feed

Including distillers grains, bran grains, vinegar grains, powder residue, bean dregs, bagasse, etc. The amount of pigs is 5% to 10% of the total feed. Distillers grains should not be fed to pregnant sows and late fattening. Various dregs must be cooked before feeding.

Grain feed

Including corn, barley, wheat, sorghum, broad beans, peas, etc. The amount of pigs is 50% of the total feed, and the maximum is not more than 60%.

Animal feed

Including silkworm pupa, fish meal, bone meal, blood meal, feather meal, etc. The amount of pigs is 4% to 8% of the total feed. Piglets should not be fed blood meal. Fishmeal can be mixed with 10% in fattening pig feed. If mixed with silkworm pupae, fishmeal can only be mixed with 5% to 6%. When using this type of feed, pay attention to the ratio of calcium and phosphorus.

Mineral feed

Including shell powder, eggshell powder, calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate and table salt. The amount of pigs is 1% to 2% of the total feed. The amount of table salt is 0.5%. If trace elements are added, they must be used in strict accordance with the regulations.
