Why is the output of the pellet machine reduced after a period of using?

1. Blockage of the feed inlet and die hole of the feed pelletizer may reduce the work efficiency of the feed pelletizer.

If your feed pellet mill has low output or no discharge, you can check whether the feed inlet and screen of the feed pellet mill are blocked. Generally speaking, the feed port of the flat die pill feeding machine is vertical, so if it is blocked, it can be seen directly. However, for the ring die feeding machine, although it is equipped with a forced feeder, it may also cause feed blockage in the narrow conditioner.

Once the die hole is clogged a little, it is easy to clean it up, and it is trouble if the clogged area is large. Therefore, we recommend using oil through the feed pelletizer to ensure lubrication before using the feed pelletizer, and use oil through the feed pelletizer before completing the pelleting work to prevent the mold hole from clogging.

2. The raw material

If the moisture content in the raw material is large, particles will not form. If the water content is too small, it is difficult to press together to form particles. Generally speaking, we require that the water content of feed ingredients in the pelleting process should not exceed 12 points.

3. The gap between the pressure roller and the ring die of the feed pelletizer is inappropriate, resulting in low output of the feed pelletizer.

In the feed machinery, some accessories will wear out after long-term use, such as the hammer head of the feed grinder and the pressure roller in the feed pelletizer. In the long-term backlog of feed, it will inevitably wear out. At this time, it is necessary to check whether the inner part of the ring die and the pressure roller is worn to determine the reason for the low output of the feed pelletizer.

4. Low voltage may also cause the output of the feed pelletizer.
