What equipment does the soap production line include?
Three-roller Mill
Function: Crush, extrudes, and refines pre-made soap blocks or bars.
Purpose: Makes the soap texture more uniform and fine, and further removes air bubbles. High-end soaps often undergo multiple milling stages.
Twin-screw Extruder
Function: This is a modern alternative or upgrade to the milling process. It uses two intermeshing screws to convey, compress, shear, homogenize, and degas the soap material under a vacuum.
Advantages: High production efficiency and extremely uniform soap texture. It is a key piece of equipment for producing high-quality soap bars.
Soap Cutter
Function: Automatically cuts a continuous stream of soap bars into individual bars. This process can be reciprocating or wire-cut.
Printer/Former
Function: Prints brand logos, names, or other designs on soap bars. It also performs a final calendering to shape the soap bars, giving them sharp edges and a regular appearance.
Packaging Machines
Depending on the packaging type, these include:
Pillow Wrappers: These wrap soap bars in film like a pillow, the most common packaging method.
Shrink Wrappers: Used for collective packaging of multiple soap bars or gift wrapping.
Cartoning Machines: Automatically place packaged soap bars into cartons.
Labeling Machines
If labels are applied directly to the soap bars, a labeling machine is required.
