Materials and details of straw pellet machine:
During the operation of a straw pellet machine, the linear speed of its die and roller is basically the same. Due to the small diameter of the roller, the wear of the roller is more obvious. If the roller die is replaced at the same time, the hardness of the roller should be 5-6HRC higher than that of the die. Based on this consideration, high-carbon alloy steel is generally used when making the roller of straw pellet machines.
In addition, in the process of using straw pellet machine equipment to make feed pellets, in order to ensure that the raw materials can be pressed into the die hole, there must be a certain friction between the roller and the material. Therefore, when making the roller, it should be designed with different forms of rough surfaces to prevent the roller from slipping. One of the most widely used forms is the wire drawing roller surface, which has a strong anti-slip ability.
However, it may also cause the material to slip to one side. Therefore, it is necessary to design the wire drawing groove of the straw pellet machine equipment into a closed-end result, which can reduce this slip. Another type is a roller surface with a concave cavity, which is filled with material to form a friction surface with a small friction coefficient, and the material does not easily slip sideways. In addition, there is a grooved roller surface, which has narrow grooves on the roller surface to increase friction. This surface structure can also prevent the material from sliding sideways.
In addition to the above types, there is currently a type called tungsten carbide roller surface, which is generally inlaid with tungsten carbide particles, with a rough surface, hard and wear-resistant. For example, in the process of using straw pellet machine equipment for pelleting, this roller surface is very useful for materials with severe wear and high viscosity.
Of course, no matter which form of roller surface is used, the roller of the straw pellet machine equipment rotates around the central axis. The central axis is an eccentric shaft. Rotating the adjusting bolt rotates the eccentric shaft, and the rotation center axis of the roller also changes accordingly. In this way, the gap between the roller and the die can also be adjusted to achieve the ideal pressing effect for different raw materials or products.
