How to check and maintain the wood pellet machine during operation

Nov 19, 2024

When the wood pellet machine changes products every day and at the end of production:

1. Inspection work: clean the magnet in the feed port;

2. Clean the rotor of the blocking sensor;

3. Check the degree of dirtiness of the temperature sensor;

4. Check the degree of dirtiness of the suction device;

5. Clean the machine and the environment.

After the wood pellet machine has worked for 50 hours, check the adjustment and wear of the pressure roller at least once a week (after the same pressure roller has been used for a long time).

After the wood pellet machine has worked for 250 hours, at least once a month:

1. Check the tension of the V-belt (the first check should be carried out after 2 hours and 24 hours of work);

2. Check the wear of the paddle in the conditioner;

3. Adjust the wear of the scraper and the paddle;

4. Check the wear of the scraper.

After every 1000 hours of operation of the wood pellet machine;

1. Check the position (gap) of the ring die in the wear ring;

2. Check the clearance of the main bearing at least once a quarter; 3. Check the clearance of the roller bearing when adjusting the roller after each die change;

4. Check the bearing on the main shaft of the roller frame when removing the roller;

5. Check the isolation ring when removing the main bearing.

Check the lubrication requirements of the emergency bearing sleeve in the frame

1. Lubricate the roller at least once every 4 hours of continuous operation. It is also recommended to give a small amount of lubrication every 1 hour of operation (add butter to the roller at the end of each process - prevent material from entering. The butter in the roller will shrink when it cools, resulting in the material being pulled into the bearing)

2. Lubricate the main shaft bearing every 8 hours.

3. Change the gearbox oil every 2000 hours or every 6 months.

4. Check the oil level of the feeder drive once a week and add a little oil to the roller chain drive.

5. Lubricate the bearings of the conditioner and feeder shafts once a month.

6. Lubricate the cutter frame once a day and lubricate it manually for convenience.
