600-800kg Flat Die Type Small Animal Feed Pellet Plant

Animal feed is made from corn, wheat, soybean meal, grass, alfalfa, and other vitamins. The feed pellets are food for animals, livestock, and poultry like horses, pigs, cattle, sheep, goats, birds, rabbits, cows., etc.

To produce feed pellets first need to grind these raw materials to mesh powder then mix these powders, and finally use a pellet machine to press the powders to feed pellets.

600-800kg small feed pellet plant includes a grinder, mixer, conveyor, and pellet mill.

The grinder we use is a hammer mill, which can grind corn, grass, and alfalfa into mesh powders. This machine is made up of a machine base, feeding chute, motor, V-belt and belt pulley, rotor, hammers, mesh screen, and blower.

The motor, v-belt, and belt pulley are the transmission systems for this grinder, the v-belt connects the motor and rotor by belt pulley when the motor is turned on the rotor starts running at 2980rpm.

The hammers are installed on the rotor, with the rotating of the rotor the hammers rotate together inside the grinding chamber, when the material is fed into the grinder from the feeding chute, the flying hammers bite the raw material to grind them until the material becomes powder and size smaller than the holes on screen, the blower provides wind suction to the grinder to discharge the powders.

The mixer in the small animal feed pellet production line is a vertical mixer consisting of a mixing tank, a motor, a mixing shaft, a mixing paddle, a feeding chute, and a discharging chute. On this mixer, there are two feeding chutes, one feeding chute connects to the grinder by pipes to feed the powder obtained from the grinder, and the other feeding chute is for vitamins and other powder ingredients. The motor and mixing shaft are connected by belt pulley and v-belt, thus the motor can drive the mixing paddles rotating inside the mixing tank. When material feeds into the mixing tank, the mixing paddles mix them together.

This kind of vertical mixer is a batch mixing machine, each batch can mix 150kg of raw material and each batch takes 10-15 minutes including feeding time and discharge time.

The vertical type mixer is a high-efficiency mixing machine, with a 3kw motor, each hour can get 500-600kg output.

The pellet mill in a small-scale animal feed pellet line is a flat die-type pellet mill with a 15kw motor.

This pellet mill is made up of a motor, machine base, gearbox, main shaft, flat die, rollers, feeding chute, and discharge chute.

The motor and main shaft are connected by a gearbox thus to improve the pressure strength and transmission efficiency, rollers are rotating together with the main shaft while a flat die is stable, and the mixed powder to go feeding chute from the screw conveyor, by gravity powder falls into the pelletizing chamber to meet the rollers and flat die. The rollers press these powders into holes of the flat die to make pellets. This pellet mill can make 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm diameter pellets. We also can produce flat die according to client requirements on the diameter of pellets.
