Animal Feed Processing Machines

Raw materials for this production line can be corn, wheat, rice bran, soybean, grass, alfalfa, vitamins, and other ingredients to make feed pellets. Actually, for different kinds of animals, the formula to make feed for them is different, especially the percentage of each kind of raw material.

A 1500-2000kg/h animal feed processing machine includes a hammer mill, mixer, screw conveyor, hopper, pellet-making machine, and electric panel.

*The hammer mill is the first machine in this production line, and its function is to grind this raw material into powder. Because the pellet machine can only put the powder into it to make feed pellets. The hammer mill unit includes a hammer mill, cyclone separator, blower, and dust collector.

The rotor in the hammer mill is driven by a motor, and the hammer is installed on the rotor. When it rotates at a speed of 2980 rpm, it can directly pulverize grain or grass into powder.

The design purpose of the blower and the cyclone separator is to collect the powder from the hammer mill when the raw material is ground. The powder enters the cyclone separator through the sieve and the pipe and then enters the mixer from the cyclone separator.

Since these raw materials are dry during grinding, dust will be generated. Therefore, a bag filter connected to the cyclone separator is required to collect the dust and clean the workplace.

The holes on the sieve determine the size of the powder, and different sizes of powder can be obtained by changing the sieve. The production of animal feed pellets generally uses a 4mm diameter sieve to have good performance.

* The mixer is used to mix powder from different kinds of raw materials together. In a 1500-2000kg/h feed production line, we use a single-shaft ribbon mixer.

The single-shaft mixer is a highly efficient and multi-functional mixer for the uniformity of mixing dry particles and powders. One of the main applications of the ribbon mixer is to mix grain flour with other nutrients in a feed pellet factory. During the mixing process, you can add other liquids to the grain powder to make the feed pellets more nutritious. The feed ribbon mixer is very suitable for the pretreatment of feed mixtures for aquaculture, poultry, and fish feed pellets. The ribbon mixer can also be used to mix chemical products, compound fertilizers, additives, health products, etc.

The mixer consists of a transmission part, a belt agitator, and a U-shaped drum. In the direction of rotation, the outer belt pushes the material from the left end to the right end, while the inner belt pushes the material from the right end to the left end. Band winds of different angles and directions carry materials flowing in different directions, and through continuous convection circulation, the materials can be sheared and mixed thoroughly and quickly.

* The mixed powder is transported to the feed pellet mill by the screw conveyor. The power tractor is a closed structure, and it can be used to transport powder materials to avoid flying.

* Since the mixer works continuously, a hopper is needed on the top of the granulator to store the granules from the mixer, so as to ensure that the granulator can work continuously. The hopper material is designed with glass windows to check the level of the material in it.

* The feed pelletizer in this 1500-2000kg/h feed production line is a ring mode pelletizer, equipped with a screw feeder and a pelletizer to adjust the pellet length.

This ring-molded granulator can also be equipped with a regulator to mature the powder with hot steam before granulating because the feed is more easily digested by animals after the raw material is matured and granulated. The regulator is optional, and customers can decide whether to equip it according to what kind of pellets they want to produce.

The diameter of the hole on the ring die determines the diameter of the particles. The cutter on the pellet mill cuts the pellets to determine the length of the feed. This kind of tool can change the length through the adjustment device on the tool.
