Animal feed processing machines are designed to make high-quality feed pellets for animals, livestock, and poultry. This 1500-2000kg/h ring die-type feed pellet production line suits livestock farmers who want to produce feed for their own use and small businesses that want to sell feed pellets.

Raw materials for this production line include corn, wheat, rice bran, soybean, grass, alfalfa, vitamins, and other ingredients used to make feed pellets. Different animals require different feed formulas, especially in the percentage of each raw material.

A 1500-2000kg/h animal feed processing machine includes a hammer mill, mixer, screw conveyor, hopper, pellet-making machine, and electric panel.

*The hammer mill is the first machine in this production line, and its function is to grind this raw material into powder. The pellet machine can only take the powder and make feed pellets. The hammer mill unit includes a hammer mill, cyclone separator, blower, and dust collector.

A motor drives the hammer mill rotor, and the hammer is mounted on the rotor. At 2980 rpm, it can directly pulverize grain or grass into powder.

The blower and cyclone separator collect powder from the hammer mill as it grinds the raw material. The powder enters the cyclone separator through the sieve and pipe, then enters the mixer from the cyclone separator.

Since these raw materials are dry during grinding, they generate dust. Therefore, a bag filter connected to the cyclone separator is required to collect dust and keep the workplace clean.

The holes on the sieve determine the powder size, and you can obtain different sizes by changing the sieve. Animal feed pellet production generally uses a 4mm diameter sieve for good performance.

* The mixer is used to mix powder from different kinds of raw materials together. In a 1500-2000kg/h feed production line, we use a single-shaft ribbon mixer.

The single-shaft mixer is a highly efficient, multifunctional mixer for uniform mixing of dry particles and powders. One of the main applications of the ribbon mixer is to mix grain flour with other nutrients in a feed pellet factory. During mixing, you can add liquids to the grain powder to make the feed pellets more nutritious. The feed ribbon mixer is well suited for pre-treating feed mixtures for aquaculture, poultry, and fish feed pellets. The ribbon mixer can also mix chemical products, compound fertilizers, additives, health products, etc.

The mixer consists of a transmission part, a belt agitator, and a U-shaped drum. In the direction of rotation, the outer belt pushes the material from the left end to the right end, while the inner belt pushes the material from the right end to the left end. Bands with different angles and directions carry materials flowing in different directions, and through continuous convection circulation, the materials can be sheared and mixed thoroughly and quickly.

* The mixed powder is transported to the feed pellet mill by the screw conveyor. The power tractor is a closed structure, so it can transport powder materials without it flying.

* Since the mixer works continuously, a hopper is needed on the top of the granulator to store the granules from the mixer, to ensure that the granulator can work continuously. The hopper is designed with glass windows to check the material level.

* The feed pelletizer in this 1500-2000kg/h feed production line is a ring-mode pelletizer, equipped with a screw feeder and a pelletizer to adjust the pellet length.

This ring-molded granulator can also be equipped with a regulator to mature the powder with hot steam before granulating, because animals digest the feed more easily after the raw material is matured and granulated. The regulator is optional, and customers can decide whether to equip it based on the type of pellets they want to produce.

The ring die hole diameter determines the particle diameter. The cutter on the pellet mill cuts the pellets to set the feed length. This tool can adjust the length through its adjustment device.
