The rod-making machine is also called a wood powder forming machine. Its products can be divided into wood chip rod making machines, rice husk rod making machines, sawdust rod making machines, etc. This equipment is the main forming equipment for producing wood chip rods. It can extrude granular waste (length ≤5mm, diameter ≤3mm) such as bamboo, wood, fruit shell, straw (except rice straw and wheat straw) with a moisture content of less than 12% into solid rods with a center hole through high temperature and high pressure process without adding any adhesive.

Mold:

3. When making charcoal, a diameter of 50-60mm is preferred. When making honeycomb briquettes, a diameter of 50-70mm is optional.

The Charcoal Rod Maker machine is made up of a motor, electric panel, reducer, feeding chute, spiral, shaping mold, thermocouple, and heating ring. The spiral is inside the shaping mold and keeps rotating after the machine starts, the heating ring is outside of the shaping ring, and sawdust feeds into the feeding chute, the spiral presses the sawdust into the shaping mold, with the heating ring increasing the temperature, sawdust compress from shaping mold to get briquettes.

Raw materials for the Charcoal briquette-making machine:

1. In addition to the material size, which must be less than 5mm, the humidity of the raw materials is controlled at 8-12%.
2. Too wet or too dry will lead to a poor molding effect.
3. If the material is too large, we will recommend a crusher according to your requirements.
4. If the moisture content of your material exceeds 12%, we have a sawdust dryer. After crushing, the material is conveyed to the dryer and then fed into the molding machine.
