Introduction of wood pellet press:
This is a vertical type ring die wood pellet mill which can make biomass fuel pellets from wood materials such as wood logs, tree branches, wood residues, wasted wood, wood chips, sawdust, and other biomass material like EFB, bagasse, straw, agricultural stalk, rice husk, coconut shell, corn cob., etc
This pellet press can pellet the raw material to 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm diameter biomas pellet with 600-700kh/m³ bulk density and 4000-5500 kcal heating value, the biomass pellets or wood pellets produced from this pelletizer can be used as fuel for boiler, home heating, power plants it also can be used as bedding for animals. Usually, people make high compression ratio wood pellets used as fuel to burn them, due to the high compression the wood pellets are hard with high density and when burning them there is a large heating value released. Some people make low compression ratio wood pellets used as animal bedding, These kinds of pellets can be matting on the floor of the animal house, due to the low compression so the pellets are not tightened and can absorb the water and brine in the animal house so that to make it easy to clean animal house.
The raw material put into this vertical ring die wood pellet press should be meet the requirement: the size of raw material smaller than the diameter of pellets will be made, usually make 6mm diameter pellets the size of raw material will be 3-5mm if make 8mm diameter pellets the raw material size should <7mm, if make 10mm diameter wood pellets the raw material size <8mm; best moisture of raw material to make wood pellets is 12-15%, the maximum moisture content moisture can intake is 17% if moisture higher than this can not make good quality wood pellets or even can mot make pellets. So, according to this if your raw material size is bigger than 5mm, you need equipment to crush the material before pressing pellets, if the moisture of your raw material is higher than 15% need a dryer to dry them before making pellets.
