The working process for a wood pellet production line :

Main Machines for Wood Pellet Production Line

1. Wood Drum Chipper

The wood drum chipper is specialized equipment for producing wood chips and includes the machine body, knife/blade roller, upper and lower feed rollers, belt conveyor, and hydraulic system. The knife roller will

install two or four, six rotary knives, etc., according to the different thickness and diameter of the materials. The upper feed roller assembly can use the hydraulic system to fluctuate within a certain range.

The wood chipper is widely used in wood shaving plants, high MDF plants, straw plants, biomass power plants, and wood factories, and is preferred equipment for the preparation stage.

2. Wood crusher: The wood crusher is an important piece of equipment in the biomass pellet production line. The material can be

corn stalk, rice straw, grass, wood chips, timber, tree branch, and many other wastes. It adopts a cooling

structure inside, avoiding damage to machines from high friction temperatures.

The mill has the features ofa  reasonable structure, durability and reliability, easy operation, and high efficiency,

mainly used in wood factories, fodder factories, cultivation factories, organic fertilizer factories, the medicine industry, the chemical industry, etc.

3. Sawdust dryer machine

A drying machine is used to dry the wet raw material.

The equipment in this section includes a bin for the dddryerscrew feeder, hot air stove, drum dryer, fan, discharger, airlock, and belt conveyor. This section is needed when the raw material moisture is higher than 18%.

4. Wood pellet mill machine

A wood pellet machine is suitable for materials with low adhesive and formation rate, which are difficult to press and mold, such as rice husk, sunflower seed husk, peanut hull, a variety of wood-like branches, trunk, bark, various crop straw, eucalyptus, palm fiber(EFB), coffee shell, sawdust, and so on.

This machine is widely used to recycle waste and tailings in biomass fuel plants, power plants, wood processing plants, fertilizer plants, chemical factories, food factories, and breweries.

5. Cooling machine: A cooling machine is made to cool materials for prolonged storage.

Advanced theory of countercurrent cooling. Widely applied in wood pellet coolers and feed pellet coolers, such as Granulation, expansion, extrusion, and so on.

6. Automatic Packing Machine

After cooling, the wood pellets are packed into bags to prevent moisture damage. The packed pellets are then trucked and sold.
