• The debarking section uses a wood debarking machine to remove bark because, under DIN and EN standards, pellets must not contain wood bark, which reduces ash content and smoke emissions when burning the pellets.

We use a double-roller wood debarking machine with a 95% debarking rate. The operator can use the loader to feed wood logs into the debarking machine or load wood manually. The machine automatically peels bark off the wood with rotating rollers. After debarking, the hydraulic system can open the door to discharge the wood.

• The chipping section turns wood logs into wood chips using a rotary drum chipper with a feeding conveyor, discharge conveyor, hydraulic system, and electric panel. Feed wood logs into the feeding conveyor; the conveyor moves the logs to the feed inlet, and the inlet rollers push the logs into the chipper; the rotating and stationary blades cut the logs into chips. The wood chips from the drum chipper are uniform in size, about 20- 30 mm. If the wood log diameter is slightly larger than the feeding inlet height, the hydraulic system can lift the upper rollers to feed the wood into the chipper. The electric panel controls all motors in the chipping section and protects the machine from overload.

• The drying section is designed to reduce wood chip moisture. Normally, fresh wood moisture is higher than 15%, while the pellet mill requires 12-15%, so a drying system is needed to pre-process the wood chip moisture. For a 2 t/h wood pellet production line, a rotary drum dryer improves drying efficiency. A rotary drum dryer includes a feeding conveyor, heating furnace, drum tube, dried-material outlet system, and dust collection system. Wood chips and hot air enter the drum tube together; as they move forward inside the drum tube, the mixture and hot air evaporate the water content in the wood chips.

• A hammermill turns dried wood chips into sawdust, since the best raw material feed size for a pellet mill is around 5mm, like sawdust. So we need a grinding device to reduce the wood chips to sawdust.

We use a water-drop-type hammer mill in a 2t/h complete wood pellet production line for grinding.

A water-drop-type hammer mill is a vertical structure: material is fed into the hammer mill from the top by conveyor; inside, the rotating rotor brings the hammers to bite the wood chips and crush them until the wood size is smaller than the holes on the screen, and they are discharged.

The specially designed water-drop type makes feeding wood chips easier.T. This hammer mill opens from both sides, so you can change hammers and screens and perform maintenance by opening the doors from both sides, saving time and labor compared with a common hammer mill, which requires moving the top cover for maintenance.

• The pellet mill is part of a complete 2t/h wood pellet production line. We use two sets of ring-die pellet mills, model MZLH420, to achieve a 2 t/h pellet output. The ring-die pellet mill can produce pellets to DIN, EN, and A1 standards. Our MZLH420 ring die pellet mill offers high stability and performance, producing high-quality pellets. Maintenance is quite easy.

Our MZLH420 ring die pellet mill is equipped with a VFD-controlled feeder auger, which controls the feeding speed from the electric panel to avoid overload.

In front of the ring die, a force feeder presses sawdust into the pelletizing chamber to form pellets.

The ring die of the MZLH420 pellet mill is made of 42CrMnTi alloy steel, combining hardness, temperature resistance, and service life.

After the pellet mill produces pellets, the remaining work is to cool the pellets with the pellet cooler, sieve them with the screener, and pack them into bags with the packing machine.

We use a counterflow pellet cooler to cool down wood pellets to room temperature. The electric panel controls the whole system: it draws suction cool air into the cooler, feeds pellets to the cooling tank, and discharges pellets from the cooler.

A pellet cooler reduces pellet temperature, increases pellet hardness, and decreases pellet moisture; it also makes pellets less likely to crack on the surface after cooling.

After cooling, a pellet sieving machine removes powder, dust, and small granules from good pellets, ensuring high-quality pellets reach the packing machine.

Packing pellets into bags is the last step of a 2t/h complete wood pellet production line. We offer a solution for packing pellets into small bags and jumbo bags.

For small-bag packing, we usually pack 10-50 kg in plastic bags or 50-100 kg in woven bags; we have a packaging machine to fill the pellets and seal the bags accordingly.

For jumbo bags, we can pack 50 kg, 1 T, or 2T per bag. We have a jumbo bag packing machine to fill pellets into bags.
