What Is The Calorific Value Of The Biomass Pellet Fuel Produced By The Wood Pellet Machine
Sep 25, 2020

The combustion of wood pellet engine fuel is divided into 4 stages:
1. The combustion degree of the raw material is 20-200 degrees, and the weight loss rate is about 10%. This stage is a process of raw material dehydration, and the fuel burns slowly. When the combustion reaches a certain level, it can enter the second stage.
2. The combustion degree of the raw materials is 200-500 degrees, and the weight loss rate is about 85%. This stage is a combustion process of the biomass volatile water and carbon.
3. The combustion degree of the raw material is 500-800 degrees, which is the main manifestation of the weight loss of the raw material itself during combustion, and the quality remains unchanged. This stage is a process of inorganic crystal transformation.
4. The combustion degree of the raw material is 800-1300 degrees, which is the stage when the wood pellet machine fuel is fully burned.
The calorific value of several common biomass pellet fuels:
Rice stalks have a calorific value of 3000 kcal/kg.
Straw has a calorific value of 3400 kcal/kg, while the low tensile calorific value of straw pellets is 3000-3800 kcal/kg.
Wheat straw has a calorific value of 3500 kcal/kg.
Corn stalks and rape stalks are 3700 kcal/kg.
Soft miscellaneous wood, including poplar, birch, fir, etc. is 4300 kcal/kg.
Pine, including white pine, red pine, fir, and Pinus sylvestris, is 4,500 kcal/kg.
Hard miscellaneous wood, including oak, catalpa, elm, etc. is also 4,500 kcal/kg.
