How do the floating fish feed-making machines work?

A double-screw fish feed extruder is mainly driven by a pair of parallel screws that engage to push the material; the screw is divided into three parts: the feeding section, melting section, and uniform section. In the conveying section, the material enters the barrel from the hopper. As the material moves along the screw groove, it is gradually compressed. When entering the melting section, because of the change in screw structure, pressure lifting, and the external heating from the barrel, the material in the twin-screw is strongly stirred, mixed, and cut by the screw and barrel; thus, the material temperature rises and the material begins to melt until all the melting is completed. Because the screw groove is even smaller, the material is further heated and boosted to produce a series of complex biochemical reactions, such as starch gelatinization and, fa, and protein denaturation. When it reaches the uniform section, the material from the extrusion chamber is evenly distributed on the plate through a flow distribution plate. At this time, the pressure is usually 3-6Mpa(depending on the requirements of the extrusion), and the temperature can reach 150- 200 degrees.

Because the high pressure in the closed sleeve exceeds the saturated vapor pressure at the extrusion temperature,t the moisture does not evaporate quickly. When the material is extruded instantaneously from the mold hole in a certain shape, the pressure begins to release rapidly, and the free water content evaporates quickly. Moisture dissipates rapidly from the material; thus, the feed can cool to about 80 degrees quickly, and the feed solidifies and holds its shape after expansion.

1. The main motor is frequency-conversion controlled, which is energy-saving and easy to operate.

2. This machine is a frequency-converting speed-adjusting feeder, so the feeding is even.

3. The main gearbox is equipped with gear oil pump cooling, a lubrication system, a twin-screw extrusion pumping mechanism, and a double-shaft extended differential modulator, so that the maturity of the material is sufficient, and the degree of gelatinization of the material is over 98%.

4. Wide variety of raw materials; the feed formula can contain more than 12% oil and fat. The screw has excellent self-cleaning fuction.

5. There is no need to clean the machine, boring, and screw when restarting or changing the variety of materials. The hoppers use frequency-conversion speed control to adapt to different raw materials, and the cutters use frequency-conversion speed control to adjust material length.

6. The screw sleeves are made of special materials and processed using special processes, which are resistant to wear and high pressure.

7. The feed is sterilized at high temperature and pressure during the processing to ensure the hygiene and safety of the feed product.

8. The cylindrical hole diameter d = 1 mm-10 mm of the discharge die, and other special-shaped die holes (can be made according to customer requirements).

9. It is suitable for processing aquaculture extruded material (floating and sinking) with water stability of more than 24 hours.
