Aquatic Feed Pellet Plant

An aquatic feed pellet plant produces floating and sinking feed pellets for fish, shrimp, and crab. It includes a hammer mill to grind ingredients, a mixer to blend the ground powder evenly, a wet-type extruder to form pellets, a pellet dryer to dry them, a pellet cooler to cool them, and a packing machine to bag them.

Raw materials include wheat, corn, soybeans, vitamins, etc. For different kinds of fish and shrimp, there is a formula for the percentage of each kind of ingredient.

The final pellets from an aquatic feed pellet plant have moisture content below 10%, which is ideal for storage and transportation. Pellet diameter can be 0.8-12 mm, adjustable by changing the mold. Different purposes may require different pellet diameters. The length is easy to control by adjusting the cutter position.

This pellet line uses a wet-type extruder and needs a boiler to supply steam to the extruder and dryer, which reduces electricity consumption on the pellet dryer; at the same time, feeding pellets from a wet-type extruder makes the surface much smoother.
