How To Adjust The Pellet Machine Roller?
Aug 23, 2024
The biomass pellet machine is a biomass energy pretreatment equipment. The roller and ring die of the biomass pellet machine are the key working parts of the forming machine. The gap between the roller and the ring die is also one of the important parameters to be adjusted during the operation of the biomass pellet machine. The rationality of its gap adjustment will directly affect the performance of the pellet machine. However, many users only know how to replace the mold and roller, which increases the cost of wearing parts. How to adjust the roller of the pellet machine?
1. If the adjustment is made in the working state, the pressure of the ring die and the roller can be appropriately increased, but it must be stopped in moderation. When adjusting each roller, pay attention to the adjustment direction of each roller. The sum of the torques of each roller relative to the pelletizer shaft should be zero so that the pelletizer is free from the influence of asymmetric forces.
2. Check the gap between the ring die and the roller in time, at least once every four working hours. If the gap between the ring die and the roller is too large, the roller cannot rotate, causing machine blockage. If the gap between the ring die and the roller is too small, the wear of the ring die and the roller will increase, the load will increase, and in severe cases, the ring die and the roller will be damaged.
Precautions for pellet mill roller:
To properly install or replace the ring die and the roller, generally a new die is matched with a new roller, and an old die is matched with an old roller, so that the surface shape of the ring die and the roller is close to the profiling state, and the gaps between the ring die and the roller are roughly the same, so that the force and discharge of the entire ring die are very uniform, which can improve production efficiency.
Maintenance and maintenance of the roller:
One end is large and the other end is small:
It means that the clearance of the main shaft bearing of the pellet mill is too large, or the main shaft is bent; there is a gap between the roller shaft head and the copper sleeve; the feeding scraper is worn, resulting in uneven feeding; repair the pellet mill, replace the roller shaft and copper sleeve and the feeding scraper.
Big in the middle and small at both ends: It is caused by uneven feeding and the same set of rollers being used on the same ring die for too long; multiple sets of roller assemblies should be used in turn, because the rollers wear quickly while the ring die wears slowly, which is conducive to normal wear between the ring die and the rollers, making the working surfaces of both sides relatively flat, which is conducive to production.
