Various causes and solutions for cracking of ring die of pellet machine

Incorrect use and operation methods can easily cause cracks in the ring die of the pellet machine, which affects normal production. Let's analyze the various reasons and solutions for the cracking of the ring die of the pellet machine.
(1) When the hoop working surface has a bright spot and the driving wheel working surface has abrasion marks, then the inner clamp of the hoop has worn or deformed, causing the ring die to crack.
Solution: The hoop must be replaced in time.
(2) Due to the wear of the mating surface of the transmission wheel, the mating surface of the mold and the roller is obviously loosened, causing the ring mold to crack.
Solution: The drive wheel must be replaced or repaired in time, or the matching size tolerance of the ring die assembly surface must be increased.
(3) The ring die is cracked due to wear or deformation of the die liner.
Solution: Check and replace the die liner in time.
(4) The ring die is knocked out due to the wear of the transmission key. The catch time is also related to the looseness of the transmission wheel. Periodically measure the gap between the key and the keyway, and replace the transmission key in time.
(5) The ring die is cracked due to the damage of the spindle bearing and the spindle jump.
Solution: Replace the spindle bearing in time.
(6) Because the elasticity of the butterfly spring is not tight, the spindle shakes and the ring die is cracked.
Solution: add or replace the butterfly spring.
(7) The ring die is cracked due to excessive load caused by improper safety pins and safety pin seats.
Solution: The safety pin provided by our company must be used.
(8) Due to the deteriorating effect of the iron removing device, there are metal indentations on the surface of the ring die, which causes the ring die to crack.
Solution: The iron removal equipment must be inspected and cleaned up in time.
(9) Because the pressure roller is not installed in place, the pressure roller and the ring die are relatively offset in the axial working area, which causes the ring die to crack.
Solution: Install the pressure roller assembly correctly.
(10) Due to the too small gap between the ring die and the pressure roller, the ring die is in hard contact with the pressure roller and the ring die is cracked.
Solution: The reasonable clearance should be between 0.1mm~0.3mm, and the new mold should be equipped with a new pressure roller.
(11) The ring die was cracked due to the increase of fiber material and no feeding scraper.
Solution: Install a new scraper.
(12) When the ring die is not used for a period of time, there is no "washing", the particles in the ring die hole become hard, the next time the material is discharged, the extrusion force is too large, which causes the ring die to crack.
Solution: It must be filled with non-corrosive oily materials immediately.
(13) The ring die is cracked due to the direct hammering of the ring die with a hard steel tool (such as a hammer) for loading and unloading the ring die. If the ring die must be installed forcefully, a wooden hammer should be used.
(14) Adjust the feeder in time when the feed volume is too large or the small aperture ring die is replaced. The pelletizing depends on uneven production, which leads to an increase in the load of the ring die and causes the ring die to crack.
Solution: adjust the speed of the feeding motor, adjust the variable chin controller or electromagnetic controller.
(15) The wear of the die cover hole becomes larger and the end surface is deformed, the bolt is loosened, and the screw hole on the end surface of the ring die is torn.
Solution: Replace the die cover.
