The Semi-automatic frozen fries production line, also known as the small fries production line, processes potatoes into frozen fries. It combines manual labor and automated equipment to simplify the process and improve efficiency.
The frozen fries production line includes potato washing, peeling, shredding, blanching, drying, frying, freezing, and packaging.
The potatoes are first washed and peeled by a brush washer. Then, they are cut into uniform shapes and sizes to form fries. The cut fries are blanched to remove excess starch and partially cooked. Next, the cooked fries are dried and fried at a high temperature and then put into a freezer to keep them freshness without forming ice crystals. Finally, the frozen fries are packaged, which can be done manually or with the help of a semi-automatic packaging machine.
