Wood crusher is mainly composed of crushing device, chipping device and fan. Fan is one of the important supporting equipment in the production process of wood crusher. Its main function is to collect the materials crushed by wood crusher through the high-speed rotation of fan blades. Fan is also called centrifugal fan and induced draft fan. Fan is mainly composed of main shaft, impeller, casing, bearing transmission mechanism and motor.

1. Wood crusher fan is based on the principle of converting kinetic energy into potential energy. It uses high-speed rotating impeller to accelerate gas, then decelerate, change flow direction, and convert kinetic energy into potential energy (pressure).

2. In a single-stage centrifugal fan, gas enters the impeller from the axial direction, changes to radial when passing through the impeller, and then enters the diffuser.

3. In the diffuser, the gas changes its flow direction and decelerates. This deceleration converts kinetic energy into pressure energy. The pressure increase mainly occurs in the impeller and secondly in the expansion process.

4. In a multi-stage centrifugal fan, a returner is used to allow the air flow to enter the next impeller to generate a higher pressure, so that the wood chips after the wood crusher is crushed and the finished wood chips after the chipping device are sent to the collection site through the fan.
