How does a Screw Type Juice Extractor work?

The screw press dewatering machine consists of a motor, reducer, gearbox, feeding screw, pressing/extruding screw, pressure adjustment device, hydraulic system, water/juice collection pan, residue outlet, and machine frame.

1. The motor is the power source of the machine, which provides the basic transmission power for the machine

2. The reducer and gearbox determine the speed of the screw to ensure the stable operation of the machine

3. The screw plays an important role in this machine, and there are two screws in the extrusion cavity.

The first screw is the feeding screw. It is installed at the front end of the main shaft and rotates with the large gear in the gearbox. The material enters the feeding screw from the feeding trough. As the screw rotates, the material is in the extrusion trough. It moves forward and turns to the extrusion/extrusion screw.

The second screw is a pressing screw, also known as an extrusion screw. The screw is installed at the end of the main shaft and rotates with the pinion in the gearbox. When the material enters the pressing screw, the feed screw and pressing screw rotate in opposite directions. So, the juice or water in the raw material is pressed out by the rotation of these two screws.

4. The pressure regulating device works in conjunction with the hydraulic system, and the hydraulic system is used to control the pressure at the end of the squeeze chamber to control the dehydration efficiency; that is, if more water or juice is to be dehydrated, increase the pressure.
