The peanut sheller removes the hard shell to separate peanut seeds from the shell; the seeds are used for food or as raw material for the oil plant, and the shells can be pelleted for fuel.

Working principle of peanut sheller machine

The peanut shelling machine consists of a frame, a fan, a rotor, a single-phase motor, a screen (two large and small), a hopper, a vibrating screen, a V-belt wheel, and its driving V-belt. After the machine runs normally, peanuts are fed into the hopper in a controlled, even, continuous manner, and the rotor's repeated blows, friction, and collisions break the peanut shells. Peanut kernels and broken shells pass through a screen with a specific aperture under the rotor's rotating wind pressure and impact (the first threshing uses a large-hole screen, and the small skins after cleaning are replaced with a small-hole screen for the second shelling). At this stage, the rotating fan blows the peanut shells and grains, and the lightweight shells are blown out of the machine. A vibrating screen separates the peanut grains to complete the cleaning process.
