The thruster is the core component of the screw-feed charcoal briquette-making machine, and its structure is complex. At present, it is mostly made of medium carbon steel. Because the propeller works under the condition of a high temperature of 200-340 degrees and high pressure of 70-100MPa, the place with the highest pressure is relatively concentrated at the front end of the propeller spiral part. In actual application, the imported special priming wear-resistant electrode is used for surfacing welding within one week at the front end of the propeller, in order to have higher temperature wear resistance. However, due to the high temperature and high pressure in the forming area, the average service life of each propeller is usually only 30~40h. After the limit is exceeded, the front end will wear severely and the rake angle will become smaller. When the surfacing material is completely worn away, resulting in The rod cannot be ejected normally, and the propeller must be replaced.

 

Thruster replacement and repair

At present, the user department mostly adopts the method of repairing the replaced propeller and then installing it for use, so as to save money.

When replacing the propeller, it needs to go through the whole process of shutdown-cooling-disassembly-repair-installation-debugging. It takes about 4-6 hours for each replacement and repair. And when installed, it is required that the propeller should ensure coaxially in the body. Generally, it is required that the tear-off gap between the propeller and the bracket cover is uniform, which is 0.5mm; when the machine is idling, the propeller must not swing up and down, or left and right, otherwise, the propeller is easily damaged during use, and even fatigue fracture occurs.
